I own two flats that I rent out.

Do I get executed twice?

You're a nice guy aren't you. You've just given Scot something to think about today until he can start drinking again and moaning that the UK isn't what it used to be.

On the contrary I think the UK has improved immeasurably since Scamp left it.

As for me "taking the plug out of the jug" I think that is unlikely. I last had a drink on Easter Sunday 1990.

Did you feel my presence there a month ago then? Was there a dip in quality?

I'll be back again for a few days this month too. Let me know if you notice.

More relevant is that he is a red socialist who still chose to live in Saudi for, what, 30 years?

Correction, an ex-drinker; still an alcoholic. You know and appreciate my endless quest for precision!

Red socialist? What has he ever said to indicate that? Or is that your default view of everybody over a certain age? ;)

My impression was that he was an occasionally insightful, rightish old curmudgeon whose first comment I recall was pretty homophobic.

Perhaps he can clarify for himself.

Good point. So taking that logic further if Scot didn't masturbate for a number of years, I assume that it would still make him a ... Online troll?

London property market has been dead for the last 18+ months. Largely due to uncertainly over Brexit and forthcoming changes in BTL regulations.

There's some owner occupiers of good indigenous stock getting their country back, but they tend to put in lowball offers and are looking for distress sales.

Housing prices are highly regional. We know there's a world of difference between London and Leeds.

yes, but come on, it's ilkley, who would want to live that high up near those dark satanic mills with "ecky thump" shouting locals and the karaoke consists of one song about a bloke who went out without an appropriate piece of head wear?

Ilkley has much to commend it, mainly that it is far from the ghastly metropolitans and Home-Counties-dwellers. I would feel quite at home there surrounded bt fellow-reds and cricket worshippers.
