Hot in the city...

...According to the weather app on my iPhone, it's been 40C, or pretty close to it, for the past couple of days now.

I don't remember it getting anywhere near this hot last year, but my friends who've been here longer than me say it was like this in 2010 when we had that scorcher of a summer.

Reckon it's going to be a hot on this year?

What I don't understand is how it can jump from high 20's to 40 more or less overnight! yuk- low 30's is my happy temperature :( time to stop wearing make up!

Personally, the mid-to-upper 20's is my comfort zone, but it's the humidity that hits you.

I cycled from JLT to Mercato. On the way it was fine. In all honesty, I could have easily cycled to Bur Dubai. However, on the way back, riding against the wind was hellish, so I know what you mean.
