Hot ‘summer’ months

Any ideas/suggestions of your favorite things ‘to do’ during the hot summer months.

The trips to the beach are drying up, and sitting on the couch with itchy and scratchy is becoming boring and Netflix doesn't have much currently either.

I thought that's the time people go on holidays to places like Zell am See in Austria etc. Maybe Scotland where you have pleasant temps.

Summer is fine here after you get used to it. You can still do beach and pool days but you just need to be sensible about it.

I'm still getting used to leaving the apartment at 8am, already in 30 degrees heat!

I'm just signing up for a golf summer membership. So I'll be golfing a lot...

I am puzzled as to why 'summer' and 'to do' are in inverted commas as if they aren't genuine things.

Life carries on a normal as work doesn't go away. Only a few expat wives swan off the summer and for most of us it's business as usual. Beach is doable early in the morning and so many other things are indoors.
