Nope not homesick at all, I miss my son but he is moving over here, and I Miss my Grannie. She is the only thing worth going back for.

Other than that I have no intention of going back to the uk. I'm probably not going to stay in the ME though.

I miss walking to the train station at 7am in total darkness with bitter cold drizzly rain and wind blasting into my face.

I miss my old man, but he retired and moved abroad when I was 17 so used to seeing him only once or twice a year. Still, it's now been 13 months since I've seen him and I'm hating that.

I miss my Mum, but she can visit...like Dad I suppose.

I miss my three sisters and my collection of niece and nephews.

I guess I just miss people, family and friends...I don't miss England or the weather or the tax or the misery.

I do miss asking for something and actually receiving what I asked for.

Oh yeah, I miss little things like that, but they bother me a bit less nowadays.

Gave my car to a place Millhouse recommended for new tyres. Bloke said 40-60 mins but he'd call when it was done. Obviously no call, returned 50 minutes later after wandering around Al Quoz chain smoking... and they'd asked where I'd been because it was now in the way.

Asked where my call was.

*Shrugs*

What can you do?

I sent a cheese salad sandwich back 3 times last week.

1) Forgot the cheese and had toasted the bread
2) Still toasted bread & Plastic Cheese thrown in
3) 12 crumbs of grated cheese toasted bread
4) 14 crumbs of grated cheese & untoasted sweet bread

I threw it away in the end and got a big mac, All I wanted was a simple cheese salad sandwich!

Do you need a recipes in order to make your own sandwiches?

(I do get your point though.)

If BE76 was making his own it would be vodka soaked cheese with JD ketchup and Beer-battered bread.
