Its not a nice place these days.

AS a kid, we used to go quite often as it wasn't that far, but having been back a few times over the years, it just seems to have got worse. Was there a couple of years ago, took the kids to the Pleasure Beach, but really - its the Cheap Tat Capital of the UK.

Not necessarily. It has still managed to retain much of its charm. Did anybody see 'Funland' a drama series from a couple of years ago? It was set in Blackpool. It was really good. Quite dark and strange.

to be fair, last time I was there I was 18 and it was brilliant, but I have fond memories of being there as a kid, loved the place,
