I used to love Elton John (seen him live more than anyone else) but he's reduced his travelling 'circus' to just him and the excellent Ray Cooper, so I've no idea how good, or otherwise, this will be............ anyway, off we go......

I sincerely hope that there will be more than just the two of them on stage. When Sade performed at Yas recently, she had at least six musicians and back-up singers accompanying her.

I've seen clips of Ray Cooper performing with Elton John on TV and he seems to be a pretty entertaining act in his own right.

I'm not an Elton John fan at all, but am almost tempted because of the other chap. He seems to perform (musically) in a very passionate way.

As long ago as the late-1970s, Cooper had his own harem of young fans - they used to dress like him (flat cap and waistcoat), and stand near him down at the front of the stage and mimic what he did - he had a superb tambourine routine they all used to do in time with him.........
