there was (not sure if still around) some sort of sub-aqua vehicle that would drive around the creek area and then drive into the creek - let me see if I can find some info :)

Also lovely evening dinner cruise on the Creek (Bateaux i believe - expensive but very nice with music/belly dancing)

take them to the souk medinat, lots of little mad shops and outside some great restaurants, not too pricey and you can sit outside and get a view of the burj al arab and watch the little boats go past.

We did that in our first week and thought it was great.

How about the cable car at Dubai Creek Park, which is a pleasant green place to visit anyway...after, you can drive across the Floating Bridge and take drinks or shisha on the Dubai Yacht Club terrace to catch the sunset.

They do a range of stuff including deep sea fishing, camel trekking, safaris etc

big bus tour, abra ride, dubai museum, desert safari, snow park, wild wadi, old town, heritage place, jumeirah mosque tour, tea at the burj (actually the afternoon tea at al qasr is much better but people like to see the burj, make sure you book the skyview bar if you go there), drinks at 44 Bar in the grosvenor, brunch on friday...etc etc
