I was at Barracuda today - the bulk buying of wine and other things would indicate people were indeed scared... it was apocalyptic....

We were also there yesterday ..... 10 mins to fill the trolly, 30 mins in the checkout queue (did well to win an FOC bottle of Voddy + a bottle of Bacardi on the spinny thing :thumbsup:) DXB must have been empty of folk as they were all at Cuda! Yes, truely apocalyptic!!

went to Ajman for my monthly run and it was the same
i think its because of the new year coming rather than anything else
and I won a six pack of carlsberg on a scratch card woohoo!
