Has anyone managed to get eLife from Etislat installed yet?
 

Finally it seems that eLife fast internet is coming to Jumeriah and I can sign up for it in time for the World Cup.

Has anyone got any experience of the throughput? I currently have 1mbps Al Shamil and am thinking of applying for the full 30mbps eLife.

Yup had it in about a month, installed with only one complaint needing placed to speed the process up, in total I think 4 days from my initial visit to the Etisalat office. I'm on the 16mb package, although testing indicates I'm only getting 13mb at best. Still fast enough for me as spend a lot of time gaming online.

Only dropped out once, took 3 days for an engineer to visit.

I'm supposedly getting the 16mbs package on Saturday, 100dhs cheaper than my current 4mbps Al Shamil...

I applied for the 8mB one (cheaper than my 2mb shammy leather).

It just started working faster after about 5 days.

I get around 7Mb-8Mb and ping times are faster. No downtime as yet (had it around 20 days)

Happy so far (assuming we don't over do the 100Gb limit this month)

WTF so I can get more for less ,nice of them to tell us. Anyone know if it's available in the republic of mirdif?
