If you are English you should be celebrating today.
Yes I know he's a bit of a weird one as a patron saint, but I once played the princess that has to be saved from the dragon at school so I have a bit of a soft spot for him. Got to be better than being a plastic paddy anyway.

I think we should all jump in our cars and drive up and down the Corniche blaring our horns and generally make life inconvenient for everyone else. Who's leading the charge?

As a slight aside - I have had a speeding/ parking / traffic violation every national day in the UAE so far. All legit offences (i.e. I was breaking the law and got caught). The irony.
