you are right. I remember when sun roofs were first put in cars in the early 80s, plenty of kids used to poke their heads out. it was normal. remember we only introduced seat belt laws in the 70s...

Apart from the dangerous driving, I like the whole National Day thing...I think it's quite cool that young people show their love for their country and their rulers...
Nothing beats "Koninginnedag" though

Or any euro/worldcup

Yes, we are mental

agreed, but when young tom or rupert went pinging through the windscreen in the 70's/80's in the UK, nobody blamed 'god' for it...im sure jesus H christ got a honourable mention along the way though

No - to the post immediately before as "Koninginnedag" is "Queen's Day", I hadn't read through to the second page when I posted.

In any case, I don't think the little voices in my head read BE, so obviously there's no point posting stuff here for them...

Or maybe someone's just unhappy about being at work?
Some countries don't even HAVE a national day.

If we were to ban days where people acted like ****s, then Nottingham would be closed for good. OK- parts of it

And no more hen nights (yaaay).
And no more football matches.
And no more Ford Escorts.
