Happy 42nd Birthday...........
......... to 'The Godfather', which premiered in New York City on 14 March 1972. [Actually I'm a day late - sorry]
Every time I see an opinion poll asking the public for their all-time-best or all-time-favourite movies, 'The Godfather' is either top or very near the top. My view, for what it's worth, is that it is certainly a great film in many ways but gets a bit rambling and long-winded when it could be building up more tension. What about you lot? |

The rebel in me doesn't want to be part of the 'OMG The Godfather is like the best film ever' club.
But it is pretty awesome. |
