When my father had surgery for a varicose vein in his leg, his daily rehabilitation (as ordered by the doctor) while still in hospital was a half-mile walk to the local pub and a half of Guinness.

ha ha no wonder my old fella still like a teenager at 75, drinks at least 6 pints every day and maybe more if its a funeral!!

My mam always used to feed us bread dunked in Guinness when we were little
