... I always thought an "X-Box" was a girl who frequented the Rattle Snake.......

I have PS3 - I use it more to play movies and listen to mp3s than play games... Tiger Woods is good though... I might get a Wii - is there any other games like Sports that are as addictive and fun?

However, if you want a Bluray player buy the PS3...cos thats all its good for.
My next puchase will prob be a BR player but I'll end up just buying the PS3 cos its the cheapest one.
The 360 has concentrated on its gaming abilities...because thats exactly what they're supposed to do. Xbox Live opens up a whole new dimension.
Go 360 Elite and you'll never look back. I'm also pretty convinced they will be doing a Bluray add on for the 360 later on in the year.
One more thought. All those that think Bluray is the next big thing should be careful before ploughing money into expensive machines. Its still an unproven format in the market and i believe it'll get overshadowed by the amount of on-line technology available and due for release such as Apple TV where you'll be able to stream high def tv shows and films. Just food for thought.

PS3 is the superior machine. just as good as the XBox for games but with added benefits.
Problem is that they have been too slow releasing the decent games. that will change later this year.
tempted to add a wii to my gadget collection though

Its a tough one but put it this way. If you're into gaming get the 360, you won't regret it. Call of Duty 4 is one of the best games of all time. On line its even better. I bought GTA when it was released on Tuesday, very very good. You've also got Forza 2, Gears of War and Rainbow 6 Vegas which are all breathtakingly good.

Blu-ray players will drop very quick (no one wins as an early adopter). PS3 is the best choice by far for blu-ray...

don't agree with your statement re: online. How many people can download a 50GB file even if they crack the protection? Blu-ray is the hi def format. It will be adopted as the new format. Once Showtime etc start hi def broadcasting then the hi def circle is complete....

I streamed Transformers in HD through my 360 last week. It was stunning and cost something like £3.
That, for me, is the future of HD tele. HD TV live streamed on demand will outsell a disc format every day of the week once it becomes more readily available. Don't forget. Bluray is old technology already in that you need to buy a disk.

Who said anything about downloading?
