Have a groin strain after last night, and am limping around the apartment this morning....so can I ask the good people of BE for some useful remedy's please....

Oeps! If within 48 hours you can do icing but I think the muscle is allready cold now so that wont work. Do you have any anti-inflammatory medications in house like ibuprofen just for the pain? I don't like taken them but it makes you use your muscle in a normal way. Otherwise it is rest, rest and rest untill the injury is over I'm afraid.

To prevent next time: more stretching before AND after the activity (which I pressume its sport related but you never know do you? )

Thanks.....made a mistake last week of rubbing deep heat into it....and went too close to certain parts.....suffice to say, the classic Jerry Lee Lewis hit 'Great Balls of Fire' came quickly to mind !!

Doing gymnastics late at night Bangle man will always result in groin strain in the morning.

I usually get a groin strain at the same time as I get a wrist strain..........

Auch!! Never ever use deep heat on that place as my hubbie would say. I was laughing my eyes out of my head when he was in shock after doing that, couldn't help it but the more angry he got the more I was laughing
