With grim inevitability

Cereal Killer Cafe opens in Dubai Mall | The National

And the founders are beardy twats from norn iron who actually sound more annoying even than they look...

25dh for cereals. Starting to make Taqado look reasonable.

I wonder how long it will before they give into the temptation to cut portion sizes.

You have it in one . Hipster wannabes , they're a Shoreditch type who ride bamboo bicycles and wear 1950's Selvage Japanese denim which makes them look like they've shit themselves after a dozen pints of Wife Beater !

Great business here to sell to the gullible masses

That made me smile this dull, cold and rainy morning-after-National-Sports-Day morning, though I did have to look up selvedge Jap denim.
Oh how I miss the side-show that is Dubai.

Don't just sit here and moan, take action

They look like a pair of choppers but I wish I'd thought of it.

I'm generally a let and live person but there's something about extreme hipsters that is infuriating. Being alternative just for the sake of being alternative means they all end up lemmings to one another and even more conformist in their own way than the people they mock and claim to despise, so the whole hipster rage against the machine / 'soul crushing' conformity rings hollow and pathetic.

I want to know who is making the money from all of those Anonymous masks too. Fools protest and fight the man, wearing a symbol of pure capitalism.

I am thinking of opening up a water café - tap water from different countries, flavoured water, organic (??) water perhaps, ZamZam water !!

Someone's already beat you :)

I also remember reading recently about a venue to open in London soon.

When I was in France last it struck me how the carbonated water really did vary from restaurant to restaurant, depending on the source. Some I liked very much, others less so. And there are subtle differences between various waters. But a water bar? There's something so Marie Antoinette about it

I seem to recall some top-end restaurants in Saudi selling water from around the world, up to $100 or so a bottle. Still, for a nation that went nuts about red mercury from Singer sewing machines, what do you expect?

Don't forget to market the calorie reduced water.

Sadly that would sell really well around here

Since I have been beaten to the post in regards to a Water café - Ive undertaken some research and come up with another solution.

Sadly not a café - but "Sands of the World" - featuring beach sand, coloured sand, history of sand, and Im sure we can rustle up a sand sandwich (I cant remember a whole afternoon of tom foolery !!)

Good shout. You might try to incorporate this:

Teddy Brown: [Looking at Inga lying on the beach invintingly] What's in it for me?
Inga Giltenburg: Sand

And:

Inga Giltenburg: [Subtitles in Swedish dream sequence] This was your first time? What did you think of it?
Teddy Brown: It's better than open sandwiches.

Aye. Did that this morning. It was raining ;) which meant I had to order a careem instead of walking to the nearby main road and hailing a taxi and that cost me an extra 10 QAR.

How about a new concept restaurant called 'School Dinners' with such delicacy's as scrag-end of lamb with turnip chunks and damp Yorkshire pudding, followed by Angel Delight, served by waitresses dressed in St Trinians uniforms.......hang on this is beginning to sound quite good :)
