Well that escalated quickly.
So I'm right in thinking the women and men got paid the same this year?
I don't really care, it's been moaned about for years and Serena and the other top players can pull a pretty impressive crowd and get probably the same airtime on TV so why not, it seems fair....but I fundamentally don't really give a monkeys about tennis.

Fantastic Summer for the Olympics, a quick summary (we are currently 2nd in the leader board. I remember when we used to come 10th!!)
It has to be the Brexit effect. We're recovering our British pride!

I suppose coming second in the olympics probably goes someway to being absolutely humiliated in Euro 2016. We can all pretend we really like watching gay men diving and horses dancing.
But let's be honest, you'd rather have won Euro 2016.
I'm in Portugal... believe me, you really would have rather won Euro 2016. It was bonkers here.

Do you have a problem with gay men or horses?
Just wondering.

That'd be the French (although it won't be anyone). China's in the picture just to provide finance and install some malware.

Absolutely not. I love gay men, and horses. And when the horses are dancing to bon jovi and the gay men are doing three and a half somersaults into a green pool in perfect unison, one cannot help but be impressed and feel very proud as a country of our horses and our gay men.
As someone who was born after 1966, it was really hard to comprehend just how winning a major football tournament feels like until I was here with a bunch of Portuguese friends watching the final.
It's hard to put it in terms British people could understand, but when Eder struck that fine shot into the back of the net, perhaps you can imagine a thousand gay men simultaneously jumping into a very large green pool in perfect unison while executing 3 somersaults and 2.5 twists. That's how good it was.

You have an issue with gay men
Definitely confirms how old you are.

Great Britain confirmed to finish second in the medal table:

First Brexit. Then Mrs May as PM. Now this.
And next week is the most challenging Great British Bake-Off to date.

I was in Greece when they beat Portugal to win the Euros, I know exactly what you're talking about and it's utterly mental.

2. A new PM when the previous one was entirely adequate (and who immediately called her judgment into question by elevating instead of sacking Johnson).
3. Great things at the Olympics.
4. A TV programme.
**** me, if that's what "cool" has been reduced to I need to learn a new vocabulary.
