Bake Off is fantastic, but I do love Master Chef too. The science in the food in both is fascinating. Greg Wallace (I think that's his surname) and the other noddy that present MC are a pair of ****ing weapons though.

I think I had too much booze at the weekend. I can't remember if Fanny Craddock was a chef or a dish.

I have never understood why anyone would want to watch someone make food on TV.

They're including edible flowers in this year's bake-off! Oh, boy, I can't wait!
You and my father both. He's a professor of economics. You do something with money and markets. Why am I not surprised

I always wanted to be a chef when I was younger and thoroughly enjoy cooking. I guess it's like if you're interested in anything you'll watch a TV show about it....

'Great British Bake Off' Winner Nadiya Hussain Criticised For 'Misrepresenting Bangladeshi Culture'
The following comments are what brought out the criticism:
"Growing up in Luton, we’d always eat on a cloth, placed on the floor of the living room, with no TV allowed. There were no chairs back in Bangladesh and Dad wanted to keep the tradition, so we never owned a dining table."
" The concept of dessert doesn’t exist in Bangladeshi cuisine and so the only time we had it was at school."

First Brexit. Then Mrs May as PM. Now this.
And next week is the most challenging Great British Bake-Off to date.
It's good to be British

But obviously your calculations don't take into account the per capita component..

Might be a dumb question: So why aren't any of the GCC nations good at some Olympic sports ; they do have lots of money for facilities and training and ready access to good nutrition.
