"Sweet Jane" is a song originally performed by the Velvet Underground on their 1970 album Loaded. The song was written by the band's leader, Lou Reed.
Here is a cover version of "Sweet Jane" performed by the Cowboy Junkies a Canadian group from Toronto.

After reading Aldous Huxley's 'Brave New World' for the second time I search YouTube for the movie and there it was, all 3 hours and 4 minutes long! Last night watched the first 70 minutes of BNW. The book is profound enough but the movie brings it home. Was Aldous Huxley a visionary soothsayer or just genius. One thing is for sure he was a great writer!
"State-Programmed Will" Vs. Free Will ... that is the basic message of this movie.
Even though it looks like a Sci-Fi movie, it isn't. It is a dystopian movie - Totalitarian Vs. Free society.
If you haven't read the book I suggest for a primer to view this movie from WIKI quick read:

A repost of one of my favorite songs by Amos Lee live with the Colorado
Symphony.
Red Rocks seems to be an amazing place to hold outdoor concerts. I was speaking with an older expat here in Riyadh who told me that the british community use to play classical music out in the desert in a canyon like setting. It would be interesting if any of you who lived in Riyadh at the time knew of this venue.

The wonderful thing about music is discovering new as well as old artist. John Prine is one of the older singer songwriters that I always wanted to explore.
Here are just a few of his songs, the first being 'Hello in There' and the second 'Angel From Montgomery' covered by Tedeschi Trucks Band.

If someone can remind me how to embed You Tube videos after all this time, I'll attempt a 'revival'...........
