Graphical representation of GBP v AED for 6 months

Hi,

Can any of you cool financial dudes help me...

i am looking for an official graphical representation with historical data of the AED v GBP value..(basically from the last 6 months)

Basically i need to highlight the plight of us poor buggers who get paid in sterling..

Ive tried xe.com but couldnt really find anything..

your help is appreciated.

You could try a graph showing GBP against USD as it will be identical given the fixed exchange rate applicable. Try Yahoo Finance or similar for the graph.

as you are sooo good,

again, part of the report im compiling i wish to display how the cost of living for essentials groceries/clothes etc has increased in the last year..

rice
bread
milk
water
detergent

etc
etc

If i had a snapshot, of various items it would help. I could go through old receipts, but if you guys happen to have any historical data it would be great.

Thanks

..can't be bothered doing it myself...but Gulf News did news items on the costs of the above items for a typical grocery basket in Dubai on a regular basis. So a search of GN is in order. :)

Here is a link to a comparison of stores prices undertaken in aug 2008 so if you've got a current receipt you could compare it from that

Great excel sheet from Grapeshisha - if you can compare these 2006 prices then you'll have proof...

Now once you have done your report - share it with us so we can use it too...;)
