Oh...gap in the market then?
Google won't let me sign up so I guess I'll never know . Funny I would have become a G-mail user but they did the same thing when it launched.

I'll see if it catches first BC. After all Google already have had Orkut which is only popular in Brazil and India but in decline.

Google+ is easily Google's best social networking attempt.
It's really well done, but it seems pointless to copy Facebook, as people have no incentive to switch.
I think this will be a slow and meandering fail, whereas Buzz and Wave were immediate and epic fails.
Google just needs to focus on making search better. This move seems desperate.

It's weird, it's okay, still really buggy though, but kind of fun, an extension of twitter, so a nice way to carry conversations on with industry folks from twitter and keep family stuff a bit more separate.
