What songs have you misheard, been misheard by someone else, or wrongly sung that stick in your head?


Kings of Leon - My Sex s on Fire. Friend's children sing along as 'My Socks are on Fire'

The Stranglers - Golden Brown. I had a Swedish flatmate who upon hearing the song for the first time in 1997 asked by anyone had written a song about Gordon Brown #Gordon Brown texture like sun# is so wrong, but I can't get rid of it.

One of our friends thought that the Mousse T song "Horny" was "Honey". Sounded plausible.

Dido - White Flag, thought the lyrics where "I will go down with this sh*t" but apparently it's a "p" not 't' sound.

I always used to hear Bananarama's lyrics as:

I'm your penis, I'm your fire
At your desire

Didn't ruin it for me, but probably has for you now.

some boyband did 'More than a woman' but it definitely sounds like "Bald-headed woman"
