Saw 'Hitchcock 2012' at the Film Festival - great film, Anthony Hopkins was, as ever, brilliant.

I was told Cloud Atlas was a good film. Have any of you seen it, download worthy or not?

I watched Argo after Meow recommended it and can say even with the highly annoying historical inaccuracies it is a good movie.

It's very annoying. Tries to be overly clever and even after 40 minutes there is absolutley no clarity on the narrative. Having seen the same actors appear in a variety of odd make up and costumes I gave up.

Anyone got any other ideas? I'm sat in Germany for the next few days with bugger all to do, so need something.

Downloaded Jack Reacher, Hansel and Gretel, Identity Thief and Gangster Squad yesterday - any more?

Jack Reacher is an abomination! Well it is if you have read any of the books. Take a character famed for being a 6'5'' hardarse who says little but interprets a lot and have a 5'6'' annoyance to play him. Such as shame. Hopefully they will see sense and recast him but as Tom Cruise owns the rights to the Reacher series I cannot see it.

Have you looked at Life of Pi? I'm currently battling through the audiobook (when I'm driving) as I prefer to let my imagination work before it is spoon fed in film format.

Argo was good, but not amazing. I think I may need to watch it again. Saying that I have kind of picked up the catchphrase they use....

Other than that I'm not really that upto date with new releases.

I love John Goodman in most things to be fair. Not as much as John Candy but he is up there. Have you seen flight yet? He is funny in that.

Watched that at the weekend and thought it was excellent. I am however a fan of Denzil Washington anyways.

Zero Dark Thirty - Fantastic movie and Jessica Chastain nails it . She should have bagged an Oscar for that performance .

Great film .

The Impossible?

Also episodes 1-8 of The Following are worth watching.

Stay away from the remake of Red Dawn at all costs. Patrick Swayze will be spinning in his grave.
