Went to see The Dark Knight at Meydan IMAX last night, very, very good. Reviews were hit and miss, but worth seeing.

Also pay with ENBD card and 2 for price of one.

Actually I never read the book as I had heard that as well. I quite like fast-paced thrillers and that's exactly what it is. The story takes very little time to build and then off you go ever closer to the climax..one thing that surprised me is that it is quite funny..

I'm just downloading this now. It's called Arme Riddere in Norwegian apparently. I haven't found a copy with English sub-titles so it looks like you're out of luck. I'll fill you in mate, if it's any good I'm sure there will an English subtitle version eventually..

Watched John Carter last night, I would recommend it. Shallow Hal is on MBC now, a good 'feel good' movie

It was a bit deep and complicated in places but seemed to tie up most of the loose ends created in the first two. And introduced Robin, of course. Christian Bale is as moody and tormented as ever.....Worth a watch just for this.

Caught that Marigold Hotel jobby on the plane back yesterday and loved it - Britain produces some great actors, and most of the older ones were in this.

Also saw a quite clever FBI/CIA thriller with Richard Gere and Topher Grace - The Double - worth watching if you find a copy (I'd never heard of it before).

Watched An Education last night--typical down-to-earth, good Brit humour.

Also watched two Korean films on LoveFilm recently:
The Man from Nowhere, good gory gangster / police / heart-warming stuff
Oldboy, won something at Cannes, twisted and watchable as they come (LittleJimmy: you really need to watch this for an "interesting" sushi restaurant event).

Oldboy is one of my all time favourite films. Best scene IMO is the long, wide angle where he fights along the hallway. Incredible film.

I watched 'The Campaign' last night. Will Ferrell - very funny.

I just stream most, stick into google the film you want and watch online and loads will come up.

Also...come mid Jan 'Watch Series' is back up and running - best place to watch anything.
