The Yemen area is always by far the best. Lovely honey, frankinsense and walnuts.
On 6th Feb one of the world's largest biryanis is going to be made at Global Village. Now if that isn't an attraction, what is?

Re: Global Village - ?
We took our kids there Christmas night and we had a ball. Cheaper than the Royal Show to get in. They had 100 dirhams each that a mate had given them for Christmas and they had such fun shopping and bargaining for some great stuff. Our son got a big wooden boat for his room and the girls got an egyptian and a vietnamese costume each and they all had change when we got home. We took them on a couple of rides - when we were on the ferris wheel, the fog rolled in, amazing feeling as it descended upon us. We had to catch a rickshaw ride to the carpark to find our way, but still we were lost, with hundreds of other people, because you couldn't see two feet in front of you. The kids will never forget that night. It was one of the best night's we've had in Dubai.
