I know. It's like riding on a donkey to work instead of taking the car.

an incredibly talented artist however I must admit I don't get it- recreating a photo which looks like a photo? if he was drawing it from a posed subject id be more impressed to be honest. for me this lacks artisitic interpretation- I like art that shows expression in the media used, paint that has texture, a more creative perception of a subject etc. Just drawing whats in front of you from a photograph- bit of a cop out for me I'm afraid- but still very skilled artist obviously

if I had the choice of donkey vs car- I'd take a donkey- far more fun than a car journey- can you imagine SZR if everyone was on donkies- it would be brilliant!

lol Bahtatboy- :rofl:

I'm trying to think of a better way to say it;

I'd ride a donkey?

I'd rather ride a donkey?

I'd like a donkey ride?

I'd like to ride an ass?

I'd take an ass up SZR?

Is there any way of saying it that doesn't sound dodgy once you have planted the seed on innuendo?

Bahtatboy you are very naughty!

I would like to travel on the back of a furry mule- nope that sounds dodgy as well ggrrrrr at you!

I think the paintings are stunning. What's the point? That leads to the whole "But is it art?" question. For me the two depicted are captivating just as images, but adding in the fact that they aren't photos just adds to their appeal. Wish I could take photos as well as he can draw.
