Looks great, currently downloading the best bits on the iplayer, so plan to sit down later with a warm can of Fosters and try to imagine what it would have been like to have been there.
One year I'll time my annual trip back to England to coincide with the festival, drop the kids at the in-laws, then have a fun-packed weekend!

I went to Reading one year
... and stayed in a 5*hotel nearby love the music, can't be doing with tents
thing is I wasn't the only one, the night before the bar was full of obviously rich folks head to toe in labels, next morning they were all dressed like Swampy

Sheesh. It's the price one has to pay to be at these kinds of events. I've NEver been to a festival per se but have been to plenty of big outdoor gigs with 3 or 4 bands. The standing around in a big field for hours waiting for the main band to come in is a pain, but it has always been worth it. Simple Minds and U2 at Roundhay were the best gigs I ever saw.

I went to reading 4 or 5 times, Phoenix and Glastonbury and had the best times ever.
