Gift ideas
So, it's been almost a year since I threw my freedoms away for the second time and I must say I've never been happier. She is loving, supportive, fun and a great all rounder. I am however, at a loss for a gift idea for the one year anniversary.
Tradition says paper, modern culture says a clock, she thinks it's a ring (it's not). Any ideas? - (and where to buy them tomorrow as I'm running out of time) - no Weasel I'm not getting her a massive strap on.

Nothing says the magic has gone and I'm already bored better than a large purple coloured strap on. Failing that why not arrange a day of pampering for both of you at some horribly overpriced spa, it's not as gay as it sounds but if it is you have the strap on available.

Paper - a picture or limited edition print would fit the bill but who cares about those lists? If she wants a ring, go and buy her a ring. I am sure the phrase is 'happy wife, happy life'.

Nithing is appreciated more than gold. I told my oh i’d buy her a piece of gold jewellery about 15 years ago, it was a kilo brick of gold, Sat in the bank being caressed occasionally then years later it grew significantly and we swapped it for a new car and several holidays, win win !

Re: Gift ideas
I was thinking a couples naked photosession, but that's probably more for me than her.

Re: Gift ideas
there is some nice art in and around Alserkal avenue near al Quoz. A number of local artists (paint and photographic) display and sell around there.

What about a nice dinner and over-nighter at a good hotel? You could arrange to have flowers delivered while you were at dinner. Very romantic!

Re: Gift ideas
Thanks for the ideas.
Ended up getting a nice art piece in al quoz... weasel, I’m also going to take your advice too just in case she doesn’t like the picture then she can go ... herself.
Most expensive bit of paper I’ve ever bought. She will either cry with joy or hang it up behind the door in the store room. Such is the lottery of art.
