can I leave it out next to the bins?? If not what do you do with them?

Planning on selling or giving away???
If the latter; ask some of the office boys at your office and they'll vacuum it quickly...

Save it in case you ever need a new front door.

Not sure where you are but try Freecycle.I use it fairly often, infact I used it today to get rid of something.Just "post" an offered ad (its free of charge)what the item is (Sofa)and the place you live. This "advert"will then get posted to everyone else who is also on freecycle and before you know it someone will respond and ask when they can pick it up.I think you have to register with the website which is simple enough!Failing that, some charities will collect items of furniture?Hope this is of some help to you?

Spugz, any piece of furniture you leave out will disappear within an hour. Leave it at the bins and someone will spot it and be off with it....

Either that or dump it out, pour a few cup fulls of detergent on it and at least it will be clean for the new owners....
