Getting away from the Muslim faith for once...

Re: Getting away from the Muslim faith for once...
I was forced into Catholicism at an early age......I am now agnostic.
They don't half keep changing the goal posts that mob;
Fish on a Friday,Hat to chapel, only speak to the Don in Latin and risk hell fire and brimstone with a do not pass go ticket to the front row at the bonfire in Hades if you failed to appear on a Sunday.....so what now???
Eat what you like, wear what you like ,speak in any tongue you like(except forked). You can even choose the Saturday night option on Mass without being condemned to Hell(Clearly His Popliness hasn't factored in the number of Pop Idol fans among his sheep) to facilitiate a lie in on a Sunday morning(no shagging your partner though unless you wish to procreate)
Oh yeh and what about......don't prevent the further spread of fatal disease in Africa by providing condomes;do keep setting up Missionary outposts and taking a collection from the poorest people in the world. His Popliness would like another Botticelli or a few cwt of gold bars to gather dust in the Vatican........ update the Art collection while another Aids baby dies or another famine or flood *****s up another poverty stricken country of committed Catholics..............

Hmmmm, a hedge. I like the green ones as long as they are not too big.
Love this one: "Even a band of angels can turn ugly and start looting if enough angels are unemployed and hanging around the Pearly Gates convinced that all the succubi own all the liquor stores in Heaven."
Please feel free to substitute whatever you call angels/prophets/pearly gates/succubi for whatever you want...including football teams!

Think I went there a long time ago ............ and even if I didn't, I will be now that my kids in Italy are NOT taking part in the weekly catechism classes that then prepare them for First Holy Communion and then Confirmation.
At least I know the local priest wll never knock on my door again.
He's probably praying for my salvation and the safe keeping of my kids !!!!!!!!!!

...jesus, this is just so outdated it beggars belief:
Pope Benedict XVI has said that handing out condoms is not the answer in the fight against HIV/Aids

The spread of HIV/AIDS is potentially one of the biggest economic catastrophes we will be facing (in addition to the water scarcity issue) in the future and in the shorter rather than the longer term. More money is spent globally on weapons and arms than on HIV/AIDS research and medication, etc. which is ridiculous and criminal really.
If people from poor or developing nations have no access to life-prolonging medication, then probably the only other alternative to control or reduce the spread of the disease is education and condoms - let's be honest, abstinence from sex is just not going to happen.
Messages like this from people such as His Holiness have to be amongst the most irresponsible load of crap being spouted, absolutely unforgiveable.

It may be his correct title but it implies something far bigger and more important than he actually is.

So basically they want people to use their willpower and go against human biology by not shagging except for procreation...and in doing so they are encouraging millions of Africans to roll the die every time they have a lapse in self control.
They need to wake up and enter the 21st Century...like all religion.
