Can't they do anything about Wayans and his use of "nigga"?

Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
Wasn't it supposed to be self defence? What's the big deal? The sad demise of Alan Whicker is surely bigger news.

Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
Had a gun-toting Trayvon Martin stalked an unarmed George Zimmerman, and then shot him to death.....do you think the outcome of the trial would have been different?
Because as I understand, George did not 'stand his ground' and shoot the kid in the chest, he followed him and then confronted him, suspecting him of being a robber. |
Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
What was he doing there anyway? It's a gated community, he didn't live there, didn't have any business there, didn't know anywhere, was asked to leave, didn't.
Got shot. Bothered? |

Got shot. Bothered? My only thing is if it was a white kid and a black cop, would it be so high profile? (I'm well aware that the history of racial issues / slavery etc, both long term and recent, is relevant) |

Got shot. Bothered? and yes I guess in a world where people take the law in their own hands is a bit bothersome He was not inside the house was he? so why shoot? |

Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
If it was a white on white or black on black it would never have made the news, yet again we have the "racist" brigade saying the reason he was shot was because of his colour.
I watched Boyz n the hood the other day, the opening credits state the following:- One in 21 black males born in the USA will be murdered, and 80% of those will be by other black males. |

Got shot. Bothered? Everyone seems to miss/ignore the fact that Trayvon had a dam good reason to feel threatned as would anyone if they were being stalked by some strange guy in the dark. Shit verdict; not a surprise considering how incompetent the prosecution was . George deliberately did not go with a Stand-Your-Ground defense knowing he could never win with it seeing as it was he who instigated the whole thing. |
Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
Zimmerman shot Martin in the chest at point blank range after Martin was sitting on top of Zimmerman hitting his head on the pavement. Whilst I don't believe in carrying guns, I can understand why someone would shoot in that situation if they were in fear of their life.
However.... Zimmerman did appear to effectively stalk intimidate and harass a young man for no obvious reason than he was tall, wearing a hoody and was black. It would appear that Martin was also in fear of his life. There are no winners here. |

This has barely begun - now for the protests............. this was the scene a couple of hours ago in Union Square in NYC, thousands of miles from where Martin was killed.........

Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
Spotted from Buzzfeed / Facebook, describing the media's portrayal of events:
>8th Grader Trayvon Martin is walking home in his graduation cap and gown. >Aryan Nation member George Zimmerman driving around in his Confederate Flag draped pickup. >Zimmerman spots Trayvon through the night by the glow of his halo. >The Klansman takes chase. >The football star nearly outruns him, but he is trapped by a "do not enter" sign. >Faced with certain death or disobeying the law, he makes his stand. >Trayvon attempts to reason his attacker, but the illiterate racist will have none of it. >Zimmerman steps out of his vehicle and asks "Any last words?" >Trayvon looks his executioner in the eye and replies "World Peace". >"WHITE POWER!" exclaims Zimmerman as he unloads with his fully-automatic assault rifle. >If not for the Republican party he may have survived, but the skinhead's extended magazine, unfettered by their legislation unloads hundreds of rounds into the future Nobel Piece Prize recipient. >Zimmerman then bashes his own head into the curb repeatedly screaming "help me!" >When he is finished, Hitler himself steps back into his gas-guzzling vehicle. >As Trayvon lay dying, the last thing he sees is the "Bush Cheney 2004" bumper sticker disapear into the night. |
Re: George Zimmerman not guilty...........
Perhaps it is not surprising that a business publication ('Bloomberg Business Week') is needed to put the whole tragic event and trial into a sensible perspective:
