Just received an e-mail from KLM confirming the extension of their Early Bird Offer to London/Manchester (AED800 plus taxes) and Newcastle (AED990 plus taxes) if anyone is interested.

Check KLM Early Bird offers from Dubai (KLM website). Don't think Newcastle was on the list, but a return airfare to Birmingham (on the lists) was AED 2550 (GBP 424)..so you fare may be OK (does it include taxes etc).

When I go to Scotland, I always go to Newcastle now and hire a car, which is basically free as I avoid the extra airfare to Glasgow.
