Cant understand why people sneer at gaming. I assume it is because when games first came out they were primarily played by kids and these were the first generation to grow up gaming. I know plenty of people, myself included, who have continued gaming into middle age. I view it as a hobby and it is probably equally if not more engaging and thoughtful that other accepted forms of relaxing such as watching TV or reading.

Totally agree, the misses says the same thing. Why are you playing on xbox all the time. Would you perfer I play on my phone or watch tv? Many games such as Mass Effect / Uncharted really are engaging, more so than any movie.

I enjoyed Uncharted Drakes Deception. Currently a good way into Fallout 4 and have also got The Last of Us on the go.

Going to treat myself to the PS4.5 for Xmas, 4K games will be quite something.

I'll almost certainly buy FIFA but my days of spending an evening playing COD and other games is long gone.

Rory McIlroy golf is hands down the worst thing I waited 4 days for to download.

I hadn't played a FPS for years, then BF4 was free with EA Access and I can't get off it.

Currently I am playing on the following games

BF4
Madden 17

Or if I have to give the tv up, FM16 or Total Warhammer.

I can't decide whether i want the Skyrim Remastered, but I'll be getting the new BF1 (if the reviews are good) and the Mass Effect game in Feb. I am actively buy less games, but sure quality games.

Childish pursuits appeal to many. Consider soccer.

Played several different sport all my life, at very high levels. Though I have never really got into "soccer". The money has ruined it the game for me

Agreed. I blame Sky Sports - ever since they stuck their oar in, it's gone downhill.
