Default Future employment in UAE after loan default skips

Do you think that when (if) a recovery happens in Dubai/UAE that the number of people who won't be able to return because of bad debts will have an effect on recruitment in the longer term? Wonder if anyone in government is considering the numbers or if they just think there will be an endless supply of professionals to tap into from abroad and it won't matter.

At a guess..It wont matter.

The only positions hard to find people to now and in the past are senior managers.
All other jobs see a steady stream of applicants (well, tsunami lately..) from all over the world almost.

You might laugh but north-korea offered to send over 300.000 workers last year. Nothing became of that suggestion but let me assure you that the US ambassador almost had a stroke..

Even that might get easier with time...if you a Board member of a listed company, recent developments in the UK and US mean that you could actually be personally liable as a director, and end up in jail, for taking perfectly reasonable business decisions. More commonly, all the crap about the banking, AIG and auto industry and the excessive and hamhanded government intervention there on everything from executive appointments to contractual payouts etc, makes running a business in this part of the world a very attractive proposition.
