I love linguistic errors. I love the way words are mispronounced and things rather lost in translation. There is a big difference between laughing at someone in a cruel way and enjoying a mistake that takes on a different meaning.

My forename was regularly mis-heard when I was in UAE, and spoken back to me in incredulous tones: "You're called ------ !!!?????" Strange, coz its not an unusual name--maybe I just don't enunciate clearly.
