The majority of accidents in dubai with cyclists ARE the fault of cyclists, not drivers. I go on regular club rides here and some of the cyclists are plain stupid. I mean arrogant beyond belief.

nah seriously, probably worth looking at them then or the nike frees. look into barefoot running, POSE running and Chi running....all are alegedly the cure to all ills exercise related, POSE apparently have a thing on cycling technique as well, might be worth a look at

I had a consultation with a sports physician a couple of years ago in Perth. My shin splints were diagnosed due to a weakness in hamstring strength plus slight pronation. She referred me to physio for strength exercises plus podiatrist for foot analysis. Podiatrist constructed insoles which worked quite well.

Physio gave me stretches and strength exercises plus a few deep tissue jobs.

all helped.Sports physician is the go.

I seem to recall Sweatshop having a branch in Edinburgh. They are a specialist running shop and will normally be able to do the gait analysis for you using a video camera and computer software.

You could probably get shoes cheaper on the net, but I suppose you could always get the analysis done and then buy them online.
