He obviously had double vision when he made that earth-shattering statement !

I think that's why the herald put in that quote. That said....there is plenty of vision in these parts (apparently)

We used to get a lot of these fraudster types in Oz fleecing the public and leaving massive debts behind, and well publicised on TV, radio and newspapers. Usually, a few months later they were up and running another shonky business in another state !

The fact that the government of the UAE sponsored his events just goes to show you how the don't bother with background checks or examine people's credentials.

Makes me laugh really - I have little time for 99% of motivational speakers.

Ditto. Load of sh*te!

It is like those get rich quick books. The only way they are gonna get rich quick is to write one of those books and convince a load of mugs to buy it!

You can get free motivational stuff just be doing a google on inspirational quotes or look on youtube...why anyone would pay $5000 to see a speaker though is beyond me!

Always follow those who have proven success...buy Bill Gates books or Warren Buffet's - not Kevin bloody Abdulrahman and his repossessed Ferrari!

Agreed, although I wouldn't always take sucessful people's opinion as gospal. Not saying Branson , Gates etc aren't sucessful for the right reasons but other such as Abramovitch wouldn't have much of an idea other than do some dodgy deals, a bit of blackmail etc and bobs you uncle - an oilfield worth billions for $1.

As for inspirational quotes I like Ollie Reeds etc.
