I watched this last night, I had no idea that he was even suffering with bipolar, very upsetting but his daughter is trying to hi-light mental illness. I used to love him when I was a kid, his big Bruno laugh, he still laughs but his stuffing has gone :(

This is completely new to me - I follow all sport closely (as most of you will know) but I did not know Bruno was ill.

It reminds me - I am going to try and find a brilliant article by the late great Ian Wooldridge about Bruno just before he fought Mike Tyson - bear with me.......

[I just heard the cannon by the way - tuck in.............]

My brother was a profesional welterweight and trained in Bruno's camp in the 80s- said he was a smashing chap - a real gentle giant.

Sad to hear about his struggles.

The Wooldridge article I referred to earlier was an 'open letter' to the daughters - very moving. I really will try to find it.
