Flights to UK - Help~!
I need cheap flights to UK, when flying to Dubai from London I was paying like 256 pound to 300 pounds, why are the same airlines more expensive flying from Dubai.
Anyone know where I can get flights for a around 250/300?

Am looking myself, absolutely crazy prices no matter whether direct or via Amsterdam, flights to Newcastle are in excess of 600 pounds, I paid 320 for my son to come out 3 months ago, I came here 6 months ago and paid 420, but yes the flights are lot cheaper return from the UK than from here in Duvai or AD

Same every year ...June July Aug Hot season everyone wants to get out so airlines put the prices up!
Prob Sep too this year as ramadam!
Nov and Dec same thing but Xmas people going home.
Airlines making extra profit where they can also there is an increase in fuel prices.

Re: Flights to UK - Help~!
like previous posters have stated, its the same every summer and xmas.
The only answer is to book them 4-6 months in advance when the prices are the lowest.

Re: Flights to UK - Help~!
Flights do seem to have risen a lot!
I flew LHR-DXB at the start of May for 2 weeks, £270 on British Airways. Then flew out again at the end of June with a return journey booked for 22nd Dec on Virgin for £330. I have a few friends and family that want to come out to visit between now and xmas and I can't see anything (not direct anyway) for less than about £460. You can get it to about £290-£350 by changing in Amsterdam, Paris or Bahrain but why should it be cheaper having to get on 2 flights (usually on the same airline) instead of 1? More fuel is used in take off than continually cruising. Hardly helping towards the global warming they make such a fuss about!

it's shit - UK-Dubai-UK is always cheaper than Dubai-Uk-Dubai. Have often wished that i'd bitten the bullet and booked a one-way home and then overlapped open tickets for the last few years - would have saved a fortune.
