I bought 3 at the same time!

Bobby Brown, Jason Donavan and New Kids on The Block... sh*t can't believe I'm admitting to those!

Good choice - I started slightly earlier: Honky Chateau by Elton John.

I cannot decipher the title/artiste from the thumbnail, must need new glasses. My first albums were Electric Warrior (T.Rex) and Master of Reality (Black Sabbath), my all time favourite being Argus (Wishbone Ash) acquired soon after.

LH, you don't identify album covers by the words, you do so by the illustration.............. especially a classic like Quadrophenia........

The very first album I had - gate fold vinyl with illustrated booklet - War Of The Worlds. I swapped a battery powered submarine for that. I used to "sing" loudly with headphones on this this including the "UUUUUOOOOLLLAAAAAAAA" bits. My folks loved me.... not....

Then the next 2 in swift succession...

One of my first purchases was The Who Live at Leeds, bloody marvellous especially that Magic Bus. Have to agree with The Eagles fan, but wasn't Hotel California equally good? Mind you, The Best of The Eagles was arguably the best compilation album ever.

Not terribly proud, but the videos were funny...

My taste definitely improved later on fortunately. I still have in excess of 400 albums sitting in my mum's loft including full discography collections for the who, the doors, led zeppelin. What will I ever do with them? Not bringing them here that's for sure..
