Fire in Dubai Mall?
Vague references on Twitter, a couple of blurred photos, rumours of an evacuation......... anyone got anything more definite?

My boss has just been instructed by one of the interested Insurers to investigate, so I should know more in due course. Thanks for the heads-up, Deano. Meanwhile, I understand that the Police and/or Civil Defence are keeping nosey parkers away from the scene. Some photos are on the Gulf News website. Doesn't look serious but I guess the Food Court may be closed for a few days.

Just got back from Dubai Mall, no sign of a fire but was stopped going along an area on 2nd floor at the very end of the street as you pass Virgin on your right
