Interesting. I used filmon last night (in the US) and channel selection was crap. I then created a 'UK account', logged in and got all my channels.

Got back on but most uk channels missing now.

Sites like Filmon are completely illegal, so nobody should be surprised if and when they disappear or lose lots of channels.

As long as you have a VPN it's possible to access all UK TV channels from their legitimate sources.

Not quite legitimate, still technically not supposed to view them outside the uk.
Although the bbc is offering iplayer for a fee to people in Europe, not sure why they don't just offer it globally. I'd pay a fee gladly for the ability to use it vpn free

The sources are legitimate, is the point I was making.

They'd have to buy out the global streaming rights for all programming, which would be completely unaffordable even assuming they were available. That's the reason why none of the legitimate streaming sites offer global streaming, they're all geo-locked to one extent or another.

My Ipad which has UK DNS settings has the usual Channels. Smart TV has only a few channels now

time to downlaod the andorid app on the Mrs phone that will let me change the tv DNS settings
