Fillums then....

Re: Fillums then....
Was able to see 'Eastern Promises' just recently and I must say it was quite promising. They should do a sequel where they showcase Nikolai's rise to power.
'Benjamin Button' was quite predictable. They showed the entire movie in the trailers anyway. I see some similarities with Forrest Gump.
Still looking forward to see 'Gran Torino' on cinema.

Benny Buttons was ok, but just far too long for my liking.

Watched Gran Torino last week on dvd, quite enjoyed it, as its a tough old grizzled Clint Eastwood role ( not typecast then eh? ). Written, directed and produced by Clint apparently. People always quote Dirty Harry as one of Clints best ever quotes from a movie, buy mine was from Heartbreak Ridge " Everyman's gotta know his own limitations"

Just came in from watching Watchmen...Whole 2 hours and 47 minutes of it...
Damn censors!!! If they let us have an eyeful of Billy Crudup's cock, the movie could have easily lasted 2 hours and 59 minutes!!!

Re: Fillums then....
...watched 'Tropic Thunder' the other night, quite easily the funniest film I've seen in years, some bits are just brilliant, Bison would love it, Lionheart hate it - I know its a bit old now but just awesome,
Also (yes I HAVE seen the chinese DVD lady) the new Bond film was pretty great, and some russian film with bond bloke in as well was good, about when Russia got invaded by the Germans,
whats out at the cinema? Is Watchmen out yet? Anything worth going to see?

Eagle Eye was very good, fast paced nonsense, but enjoyable none the less
Max Payne and The Happening were also pretty good...
I wanted to watch Mamma Mia, but was quite conscious of the other passengers next to me thinking it would be a bit gay .....lol

I watched several films on a recent flight....Changeling was excellent, and Angeline Joie looked better in that than she does usually.
