Still looking forward to see 'Gran Torino' on cinema.
Watched Gran Torino last week on dvd, quite enjoyed it, as its a tough old grizzled Clint Eastwood role ( not typecast then eh? ). Written, directed and produced by Clint apparently. People always quote Dirty Harry as one of Clints best ever quotes from a movie, buy mine was from Heartbreak Ridge " Everyman's gotta know his own limitations"

Benny Buttons was ok, but just far too long for my liking.

Clint should have played all the bloody roles in that film...And then he should also watch it...And sell the ticket...And stick the billboards up...And do the talking sequence on the previews...

Just came in from watching Watchmen...Whole 2 hours and 47 minutes of it...
Damn censors!!! If they let us have an eyeful of Billy Crudup's cock, the movie could have easily lasted 2 hours and 59 minutes!!!

whats out at the cinema? Is Watchmen out yet? Anything worth going to see?

I watched several films on a recent flight....Changeling was excellent, and Angeline Joie looked better in that than she does usually.

Eagle Eye was very good, fast paced nonsense, but enjoyable none the less

Max Payne and The Happening were also pretty good...

I wanted to watch Mamma Mia, but was quite conscious of the other passengers next to me thinking it would be a bit gay .....lol

My 5yo daughter has watched our Mama Mia DVD over 20 times...it's very uplifting and the Greek Island scenery (Skiathos and Skopelos) is breathtaking, even better than Captain Corelli's mandoline which was filmed on Cephalonia if my memory serves me right.
