Default Fillums again....

...I watched 'Zack and Miri Make a Porno' last night, it was brilliant, proper funny, although a typically very stupid Kevin Smith (mallrats / clerks / dogma etc) film,

an incredible amount of swearing and baps all over the place, needless to say I don't think it ever made the cinema over here,

7.5/10

That was pretty good actually IMO.

Let me think...what have I watched and liked recently...?
Michael Clayton (8/10), I really liked the way it was filmed to give it the same feel as insomia...very strange/cool. Well worth watching.
Religulous (6/10)
Valkyrie (6/10), great plot and had the right "feel" but the acting sucked.

Miss_Charismatic liked "Bella" but any blokes watching it may want a good magazine to read and noise crisps (e.g. Hula Hoops).

I've got "The lives of others" to watch over the next few day, looks interesting . There have been some good films out recently IMO.

I rather enjoyed Valkyrie, but Tom Cruise was the weakest link.

Grand Turino was pretty good and I was quite amused by Clint Eastwood's racist right-winger, but his growly voice was a bit annoying.

Woody Allen's latest Vicky Christina Barcelona was enjoyable too.

A law firm brings in its "fixer" to remedy the situation after a lawyer has a breakdown while representing a chemical company that he knows is guilty in a multi-billion dollar class action suit.

Check www.imdb.com like I told you already!

George Clooney is in it. What else do you need to know?

I liked 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona' as well. They were able to capture the Bohemian spirit in that one.

I've also just watched 'Batman Begins' entirely and was able to enjoy it this time since the first time I slept in the cinema. Morgan Freeman was brilliant.

Was also able to see 'JCVD'. Some good acting from Van Dame this time.

Reviews have been universally dreadful. There was an article about in The Sunday Times - you should be able to find it online.

We recently released Lives Of Others - it is an amazing movie, easily one of the best in recent years.

It's meant to be really good. Total self-parody right?
