There is form for this kind of thing, albeit not for a convicted criminal. Remember Mylene Klass being the 'face of Dubai or some such in a load of advertising? This despite her being an unmarried mother.

I read a few of Archers books in my early teens and loved them. I then moved onto Wilbur Smith, which I loved too. Neither would interest me now. The man has a talent for invention . Not worthy books but there are many tv shows/ films etc that aren't clever but hugely popular too.

As for his guilt, I'm sure he's rubbing shoulders with many peers here.
