Default Favourite Ever Song

Just had this chat with my soon to be ex-boss.

His was Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb... A sterling call I hear you say and I'd tend to agree.

BUT, the song I can listen to in ANY mood at any time day or night is LL Cool J - Mama Said Knock you Out.

Classic beyond repute.

I never have been able to understand how someone can pick just one song, there are far too many for different occasions or memories. But I go through phases of songs I can listen to over and over again.
Currently Jamiroquai - Seven Days in Sunny June, although this will change by next week I'm sure!

All I can say is that I'm surprised that Leonard Cohen's isn't at the top of your list (although I'll plead ignorance of the particular track).

I've overlooked another track that will always make me laugh;

Depeche Mode - Just Can't Get Enough.

If you've got time, check out the video on youtube, absolutely priceless.

Gene - now there's a blast from the past. Good choices though although I'm not much of a Billy Bragg fan.

oh my god, I HATE that Stardust song.

For me - again its almost impossible but: Sittin' on the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding, House of Fun - Madness, Geno - Dexys - to name but a few.
