Just wondering if anyone in here works in the fashion photogrpahy industry? Photographers, MUA, hair stylist or stylists? Or anyone in fashion PR, catwalk production?

I deal with a number of photographers, some of whom have done, or do, fashion.

Are you trying to find people, as I can probably find stylists etc.

The guy I sit next to has a Thai model girlfriend (fashion not porn guys). He is always going along to photoshots etc.

She does catwalk etc, any help?

Try arabian eye based in Media city - they got lots of photographers and stylists.

Was asking for networking reasons, I've been working as a fashion stylist in the UK and just wanted to get a grasp of how it works over here- through PR companies or is product borrowed direct from the stores, and is there anything like Diary Directory for contact lists etc? Any licenses needed for location shooting here and anyone fancy doing a few tests? Would be keen to meet up for a chat with anyone involved in the industry to get an idea of how it works over here.

for the fashion brands we work with, you have to get a loan letter from us (the pr company) before going to the store to get the clothes...

location shooting can be a mare, i think you need licences for most places, including malls... if you want to use any of the hotels, depends on whether the company thinks it's a worthwhile project in terms of what they will get out of it...but beaches as far as i'm aware are ok...
