you may well be right, seeing David Bowie live was probably one of the biggest 'star' disappointments in my entire life! however I thought Bobby Davro would be a complete tosser but he was just the loveliest person to spend time with.

You are joking surely? As much conversational wit as Steptoe and Son...mind you, they might be quite funny. My choice would be an experienced cricketer or rugby international with plenty of touring yarns to tell. Ian Botham, Viv Richards, Shane Warne or Bill Beaumont spring to mind.
