Facebook statuses when you were a teenager ?
 

Right, cast your mind back to when you were a teenager, if this Facebook thingy had been around then, what status updates would you have been putting up? Teenage angst, unrequited love, school woes?

My week so far :

Sunday : Recording the Top 40 countdown, hovering my fingers over pause to stop Dave Lee Tarvis' voice ruining it!

Monday : Bollox. My old man won't let me do my hair like Tom Bailey. Don't know why ? Thompson Twins rock !

Tuesday: Just seen this portable tape player called a Sony Walkman... its so small !!

Wednesday : Purple Farah waffle trousers & a white Pringle jumper ....lookin' cool !

Thursday : Tuckers Luck tonight....!

My Wednesday would've been

Two tone 'stay pressed' and a new Fred Perry...but mum won't let me go up to Carnaby Street to buy it so I've ordered it out of the Littlewoods catalogue with my paperround money

Sunday - is trying yet again to record Orinoco Flow on my tape player. Gar! DJ ruined the end by talking. My dad's just come in and said it's a rubbish song anyway. What does he know?!

Monday: Far too much homework, but how do I meet David Sylvian?

Tuesday: Oops, may have singed hair on crimping irons!

Wednesday: I can't be friends with you if you don't think that Bela Lugosi's Dead is the greatest song in the world. Prefer David Sylvian to Pete Murphy though.

Thursday: Tops of the Pops on, but no Japan. The producers know nothing!

Friday: Wish I could go out tonight, but there's nothing to do in this vlillage so I'm babysitting instead. At least I can buy some more black clothes tomorrow.

I'm going to be a huge star. Any other girl play her fender bass as brilliantly as Tony Visconti? Nope, didn't think so. Look at my lopsided hair! My moody gaze! God I'm so cool.

mine would have read mainly like, I love George Michael, Adam Ant is the dogs bollocks, Julian Clary rocks, Boy George is God etc

Obsessively so! I still like most of their stuff and David Sylvian's solo work, although I no longer want to marry him. :D

Mine would have been

Wednesday : Meet you at the club after "Dallas"
Thursday : God I'm tired...long night, longer day at school
Friday ......: see you all at the pub, then quick dinner, long nap and I'll be at the club around 12

Saturday : Nice shopping this morning, need a long nap, see you at the club...who can I catch a ride with, my Boyfriends car broke down...again!

Yes, I did a lot of clubbing those days.

Monday :will be working this afternoon, pop round, and you'll get a free coffee!
Tuesday : Working the bar tonight...school's going to be a bitch tomorrow!

Friday: At the Barge / The Club**
Saturday: At the Barge / The Club (or Bugger, got IDed again)
Sunday: At the Old Market
Monday: C**p, homework...

* Floating pub where many hours were wasted

It's a wonder I made it to A-Levels.
