Dubai Airport is replacing security checks with face-scanning fish, here.
I could think of better images that would attract my attention...
As always, the Telegraph comments are a better read that the article itself

"You’ll have to be pre-registered to pass through the tunnel, with 3D face-scanning kiosks set up at locations around the airport to do so."
So what's the point of going through the tunner then, just have the kiosk do everything. Sounds like just another gimmick, designed to create a buzz.

Not quite sure what they're angling for here.
It seems a bit off the scales and a snapper decision.

Codswallop and ruddy nonsense, the lot of it. Some people will carp about anything. It's a red herring, of course, the sole intention to distract travellers from other security measures -- in fact, quite a brill idea (although, viewed from another angle, some will think it crappie).
